Kendra L. Sherwood, Ph.D.

Kendra L. Sherwood, Ph.D. is the founding owner of Rocky Mountain Behavioral Medicine. She is a clinical neuropsychologist who completed an extended post-doctoral training program in neuropsychology under the esteemed Dr. Arnold Purisch. She also completed informal post-doctoral training in neuropsychology at the Colorado Mental Health Institute, Fort Logan, one of two state psychiatric hospitals. Her doctoral training took place under the guidance of internationally known, Dr. Henry Soper, also with the emphasis on neuropsychology. With Dr. Soper's help, she completed her dissertation titled The Relationship between Moral Reasoning and the Neuropsychological Functions of Executive and Gestaltic Processing. Dr. Sherwood's specialty areas include severe and persistent mental illness, neuropsychology, and aeromedical psychology. She holds Post-Doctoral completion in neuropsychology, a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, dual Masters in Developmental and Clinical Psychology, and dual Bachelors degrees.
Dr. Sherwood has practiced in a variety of settings to include psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, and correctional facilities. She enjoys time with her family, reading a good book, and trying to salvage her flower bed (often to no avail).
Dr. Sherwood is licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming.

Valerie Sims, Psy.D.

Valerie Sims, Psy.D. is the co-owner of Rocky Mountain Behavioral Medicine. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in chronic pain, severe and persistent mental illness, and forensic psychology.
Dr. Sims received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in August of 2010. She also holds a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology (2006) from the University of Denver. Dr. Sims has practiced in correctional facilities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals (civil and forensic), outpatient community-based clinics, and an integrative, multidisciplinary chronic pain rehabilitation facility. Her training and experience includes the treatment and assessment of adults, adolescents, children, and families in all of the above listed settings. In addition, she has additional training in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder in adults.
Dr. Sims enjoys spending her free time with friends, family, and her dog. She also enjoys traveling, baking, and performs as a percussionist with a local concert band.

Diana Luckman, Ph.D.
Diana Luckman, Ph.D. is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist with expertise in treating severe and persistent mental illness and eating disorders.
Dr. Luckman received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2014. She also holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology (2008) from the University of Colorado at Denver. Dr. Luckman has practiced in inpatient civil psychiatric hospitals/units, private hospitals (at the inpatient, residential, and intensive outpatient levels), outpatient community mental health centers, residential treatment facilities, and a university psychological services clinic that treated both students and community members. Her training and experience includes the treatment and assessment of adults, adolescents, and families in all of the above listed settings.
Dr. Luckman enjoys spending her free time with family, friends, and her two cats. She also enjoys traveling, seeing live music, practicing yoga, and hiking in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Tobin Haas, Psy.D.
Tobin Haas, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in completing neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults under the supervision of Dr. Kendra Sherwood and Dr. Arnold Purisch. He also provides evaluative work for adults with varying mental health and/or neuropsychological concerns.
Dr. Haas obtained his doctorate degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. His internship training took place at Community Reach Center and he completed his postdoctoral training under at Rocky Mountain Behavioral Medicine under the supervision of Drs. Sherwood and Sims. Dr. Haas’ training in mental health extends nearly 20 years and includes experience obtained while working in residential settings for at-risk youth and developmentally delayed adults. Dr. Haas is currently enrolled in an extended post-doctoral training program through Fielding University that, once completed, fulfills the requirements of the Houston Conference for neuropsychology.
Dr. Haas spends his downtime hiking the mountains and foothills of Colorado. He also enjoys cooking, gardening, and finding excuses to ferment a variety of foods in his home pantry.

Tattiana Romo, Ph.D.
Tattiana Romo, Ph.D. requested to complete a second post-doctoral training year to gain advanced proficiency in assessment and expand her work with the Spanish speaking populations. She is honing her knowledge in her second year within the realm of assessment of children and adolescents. She is extremely proficient in the realm of community mental health and provides a safe and accepting atmosphere to those who she meets. we are honored that she has chosen to stay for an additional training year.

Craig Anderson, Psy.D.
Craig Anderson, Psy.D. is one of our two post-doctoral trainees for the 2021 - 2022 year. He is seeking continued training on psychological assessment with a greater understanding of neuropsychological testing. He is knowledgeable in the realm of severe and persistent mental illness and works with individuals across the lifespan.
In his free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their dog.

Hannah Schweitzer, M.A.
Hannah Schweitzer, M.A. completed her M.A (Forensic Psychology) in 2017 and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2019. She has worked in a variety of therapeutic environments with adolescents and adults including inpatient, residential, outpatient, correctional, and private practice settings. She employs a trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral approach (and EMDR when appropriate) to empower clients in making concrete and manageable changes in their lives. Her specialties include mood disorders, PTSD and trauma, self-injury, and healthy relationships and attachment. She is currently completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology and is operating under the supervision of Dr. Diana Luckman.
When Hannah is not working, she enjoys exploring all the dog-friendly places in Colorado with her two dogs and expanding her houseplant collection.

Natalia Rodriguez
Natalia Rodriguez is currently working on receiving her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is passionate about working with individuals across the lifespan and she is aiming to create a safe space to explore an array of different obstacles throughout the human experience to leave clients feeling empowered and heard. She cares deeply about promoting diversity.

Mia Angeliese
Mia Angeliese received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baylor University and previously worked with the Waco Children's Advocacy Center. Here at Rocky Mountain Behavioral Medicine, she serves as one of our Psychological Technicians. She is currently working towards completing her Master of Science in Forensic Psychology. She is incredibly passionate about helping others and is fascinated by mental processes and psychological disorders.
In her free time, Mia enjoys spending time with her three cats, singing and playing the piano, and watching medical and legal TV shows. She is originally from Seattle and loves to hike, but is still adjusting to the altitude in Denver and working her way to being able to hike once again.

Amy Calkins
Amy Calkins in Rocky Mountain Behavioral Medicine’s administrative assistant, doing everything she can to keep our group organized and functioning smoothly. She likes to spend her free time with her family, supporting her kids in all of their various activities and volunteering with her church and community.
While not doing those things, she spends her time listening to many different genres of podcasts, dabbling in many craft projects, and traveling with family and friends. She also enjoys watching and attending college sporting events, especially the Boise State Broncos!

Mandy Floodeen is Rocky Mountain Behavioral Medicine’s previous administrative assistant and now provides billing services for the organization.
